The BSAFE is an all-in-one power management panel installed adjacent to traditional Industrial Control Panels (ICPs).
The BSAFE has two disconnects. One traditional main power disconnect for the hazardous power circuits and one 24VDC disconnect that powers electronics inside the ICP.
Circuit disconnects are located outside of the ICP. Line-side conductors that remain energized after LOTO reside outside of the ICP.
The absence of voltage can be verified before any door is opened. The process of achieving an electrically safe work condition becomes more instinctive.
